As an educator, she’s devoted her career to advancing educational equity and nurturing the potential of every child. Alessandra’s debut picture book, There’s More to Me, inspires children to explore their limitless potential, reminding them that they can be everything they want to be.

When she’s not writing, Alessandra enjoys spending time with her partner, Tyler, their dog, Wesley, and her family. She also loves crafting and finding creative ways to repurpose everyday items.
